Emanuel Avina, President of Avina Financial Group, Interviewed on Influential Entrepreneurs Podcast About Using Life Insurance for Retirement

Emanuel Avina, President of Avina Financial Group, Discusses His Approach to Helping His Clients with Financial Planning and Retirement Using Life Insurance

During the interview, Emanuel discusses how to transfer retirement savings to kids without paying taxes, how retirement savings impact financial aid for a child’s college tuition, and how the 1% pay so little in taxes.

Tune in for the interview available on iTunes, Stitcher, iHeartRadio, and the Business Innovators Radio Network.  https://businessinnovatorsradio.com/interview-with-emanuel-avina-president-of-avina-financial-group-discussing-how-to-use-life-insurance-for-retirement-planning/

Emanuel explained that “Over a decade ago, I began this journey in financial services to help clients not only retire but to retire with more confidence. That confidence comes from knowing how, when, and where your income comes from to fund that retirement. I am so excited to bring this education to help people understand one of the most vital resources in retirement: taxes and life insurance. The emphasis around the college financial aid is based on the expected family contribution, EFC. Assets such as cash savings, checking accounts, the net worth of investments, business, and/or investment play a factor in figuring out EFC. This determines how much a family has to contribute towards the financial aid, but money or cash value inside a life insurance policy is not considered part of the EFC contribution. So if you’re looking down the line and you utilize life insurance as an asset, it can help you when it comes to college savings.”

Avina continued, “In a world of media white noise, account balances, fees, and market swings, it’s easy for those numbers to feel like the goal. But at Avina Financial Group, we go beyond the numbers. That’s the Avina Financial difference — that’s our Retire with More Process. Our proprietary 5-step process to help you Retire with More – more of what is important to you.”

Ken Abel discusses how working with Trailstone Insurance is a different experience and provides a vibrant environment for success. In the interview, Ken discusses their Core Values:

  • Treat Others the way you Want to be Treated – The Golden Rule

  • Generosity & Gratitude

Abel commented, “our agency has been remote-focused from day one. Providing our agents the technology and flexibility to work when they want and where they want with full support gives them a work environment that fosters the greatest success possible!”

Trailstone Insurance Group is an independent insurance agent that represents multiple insurance companies. They are not locked into just one insurance company, which allows them to find the best options for coverage and the best pricing available. Having access to over 40 insurance companies means when rates go up with one company, Trailstone has the ability to move their clients’ insurance to a better option…in fact, they have an entire department in their agency focused on just renewals and finding the best coverages! There is no charge to use their service; the insurance carriers pay them.

Dave Ramsey has endorsed Trailstone Insurance Group. Abel commented, “It took us years to pass Dave’s vetting process. We had to prove to Dave’s team that we have the “Heart of a Teacher” in our selling approach with our clients. This means we put your needs first before ours or the insurance carriers. Insurance agencies cannot purchase Dave’s endorsement; it must be earned. To ensure we are continually improving, Dave’s team does monthly training with the leadership here at Trailstone Insurance and asks for feedback directly from our customers.”

“Whispers from His Heart: Experiencing The Love of God”, moving brokenness to healing by personally connecting to God daily

Published on May 25, 2022

In her interview on Business Innovators Radio, Brenda walks through the writing process and how her book “Whispers from His Heart: Experiencing The Love of God” came to be. Birthed from one of the darkest times of her life, the writing of this book was part of her healing process.

Brenda W. Levine is the author of “Whispers from His Heart: Experiencing The Love of God”, a devotional journal offering encouragement through daily life struggles, igniting hope, instilling purpose, and inspiring dreams again.

Daily Devotions have been called exercise for the soul and just as physical exercise promotes physical health so daily devos promote spiritual health.

According to The Pew Research Center in Washington DC only 36% of Evangelicals say they have a daily devotional and women are 30% more likely to have a daily devotions than men?

Women’s devotional books make up almost 80% of the devotional book category so there seems to be a strong market for them.

Toya Poplar says of Brenda Levine’s book Whispers from His heart, “Written in the style of Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling, Whispers is a daily devotional that does exactly what the name suggests; it whispers aptly spoken words to the quiet place of your heart.”

In her interview on Business Innovators Radio, Brenda walks through the writing process and how this book came to be, this podcast can be found on the Business Innovators Radio.

She shares how this book was birthed from one of the darkest times of her life.  She found herself going through two painful divorces that she didn’t want to happen but had no ability to stop.

It was during this dark time in her life that she went to God again in a new way.  Not just spending time studying and praying but journaling and learning to hear God’s voice as it spoke to her needs directly, the writing of this book was part of her healing process.

Now she wants to share that journey with others so they can also learn to hear the whispers from God’s heart.  So no matter what they have experienced or they are facing now, they can know God is there with them and he cares.  He wants to step into their lives and be there for them in a tangible way they can feel.

Her book is a way other women can learn to experience this for themselves and it is more a workbook than book as it meant to be uses each day as they learn to spend time with God.

She offers a free 7 day challenge where anyone can get free devotions from her book and learn to hear God’s voice for themselves at the Whisper Challenge.
